We travel through the universe aboard the spaceship Earth, crisscrossed by routes in all directions. We, the Wandromedarji, leave sonic traces and slowly, spirally glide toward a merging with Andromeda.

Jata is a group of artists connected by shared interests in acoustic ecology, field recordings, and bioacoustics. They weave sonic perception with ecological and posthumanist themes and, in dialogue with scientific discourse, shape native soundscapes. In their compositions, they transform recordings from the immediate environment into speculative projections of the future and sensitive perceptions of the present. They perform from a score that leaves ample space for improvisation and live sonic interpretation.
