Brane Zorman is a composer, sound and intermedia artist, producer, and curator. He creates electroacoustic works and improvisations in spatial sound, composes for theatre and dance, and performs electroacoustic pieces. He develops flexible strategies and interactive modules, and transforms soundscapes into electroacoustic sound sculptures.
He is a co-founder of Cona Institute and, since 2022, has been organizing and co curating SO.UND.ING Acousmonium. He explores sonority and bioacoustics and composes works based on field recordings. Since 2023, he has been organizing interspecies concerts under AnimotMUZIK.
In 2022, he received the prestigious Palma Ars Acustica (EBU) award for his work The Tree Spirits | Touch.
