music and concept for a sound walk

The speculative story of the walking sound performance VRToglavi VRT highlights the difficult relationship between humans and plants, in which humans primarily benefit. The historical course of colonialism and the relocation of plants are based on subjugation and exploitation of nature. In light of ecological crisis awareness and the possibility of a better scenario for the future, it is necessary to change this relationship.

In an attempt to come closer to the world of plants, VRToglavi VRT engages the dimension of time. Through the prism of the journeys of these two very different temporalities, those of humans and plants, which seemingly offer no possible meeting point, it speculates on the development of future, solidaristic coexistence between humans and plants. Plants, the most widespread life form on this planet, live primarily within their own temporality and along paths that are so inaccessible to us. VRToglavi VRT leads you along the routes of a possible future scenario for our overstimulated, noisy planet, reflected in the development of local green routes. Can we learn something from plants for a more solidaristic future?
