Brane Zorman is a composer, sound and radio artist, sound manipulator and producer, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. His work examines and explores the possibilities of processing, presenting, perceiving, understanding, positioning, manipulating and reinterpreting the sound and space. By employing old (analogue), digital technologies and techniques his work traverses the fields of music, multimedia and visual space using both sophisticated and simple tools, strategies, methods, dynamic and interactive interpretation models, soundscapes, electronic and acoustic evolving sound sculptures. With Irena Pivka he co-founded CONA Institute for contemporary art processing which produces radioCona, Field Frequency Flux projects among others. He is programe selector for ZVO.ČI.TI (so.und.ing) series project, curates sound art exhibitions, publishes artist’s books.
Brane Zorman, composer, curator, sound and radio artist, sound manipulator and producer, living in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has composed numerous soundworks for theatre, dance performances, new media, internet projects, exhibitions, and events. In his work, he explores the possibilities of processing, presence, perception, placement, and reinterpretation of sound. He developed special interest in uncovering the unseen, unheard and hidden presence of the sound, vibrations, radiation like EMS spectrum, Earth trembling, and plants communication. Employing analogue and digital technologies, field recording and different techniques, his work traverses the fields of music, multimedia, and space. By using both sophisticated and simple tools, he constantly develops strategies, methods, dynamic and interactive interpretation models, soundscapes, ending in evolving electro-acoustic sound sculptures.

His bio-acoustic composition The Tree Spirit – Touch which took two years to complete won Palma Ars Acustica 2022 award.
